I had an idea for a parody channel the other night while watching Live From Daryl’s House.
While he actually might be playing that guitar during the performances, it has to be really low in the mix. Some of the fingerings don’t match what the band is playing (the few times they even show closeups of it) and you can’t hear it at all.
My idea was to download a handful of videos, learn the songs, then mimic his fingerings and overdub what he might actually be playing - as if the engineer actually turned up his track.
I keep giggling every time I think about it.
